"Bye" You grabbed your bag,lunch and umbrella. It had been raining for the last three days,it seemed to pick up whenever you were getting to school or leaving. 

The school day was boring as usual,it was only when it was time to leave that you noticed your umbrella was missing. You looked all over for it but you couldn't find it and it didn't look like the rain was stopping. You were standing at the door,thinking of what you could possibly do. 

"Did you forget your umbrella?" You turned to see Ayato lingering behind you,his umbrella in his hand. 

"No,I just can't find it. Maybe someone mistook it for theirs"

"We could share mine" He was already standing next to you with his umbrella covering the both of you. "I'll walk you home." The whole way back he was talking,which was unusual for him,he was normally very quiet so it was nice to see him so confident. But everything he said was a question about you,he was asking you everything every question he could think of. You hadn't even noticed that he was leading the way but you had never told him where to go.

"Thank you for walking me home"

"You don't have to thank me,I'd do it for you anytime" And he was true to his word,he walked you home for the rest of the week. He was actually nice to hang out with so you didn't really mind,but the only thing that bothered you was that you never found your umbrella.

I'm baaaaaack!

So I have recently joined the One Chicago fandom, specifically Chicago Fire. My favorite character is Matt Casey and my favorite pairing was Dawsey but the way she left him left me a certain way. And then when he started having feelings for Brett and I saw people bash him because he "moved on too fast" or "he loved Brett more since he did more crazy things for Brett"... It kind of made me a bit peeved. So essentially, this short shows my anger towards Dawson for using him and leaving him in the dust because of a disagreement, and for people saying how he risked his life more for Brett than Dawson and moved too quickly. "Hey guys." Alan breezed in, the confidence oozing from every pore. Tin-Tin was following close behind

Until

"What's that on your face, Alan?"

"Oh, just oil," he replied, wiping his hand along his cheek, "been working on my ..."

His eyes grew wide as he inspected the 'oil' on his fingertips. It certainly wasn't motor oil. But a bright vivid flamingo pink lipstick. Tin-Tin's favourite shade.

He blinked, his mouth dropped open, and he looked helplessly from one brother to another.

They all bore the same blank expression.

He felt a gentle hand on his shoulder.

"It's okay Alan," she said soothingly, "you can tell them."

His face grew crimson and he spluttered.

"What ... ? Why ...? How ... ? But ..."

Clenching his fists, he flared his nostrils and declared.

"You lot are so mean!"

Before storming out.

There was a moment's silence, then Jeff stepped forward, just as she was reapplying her lipstick.

"Would you like to explain what just happened?" He asked.

Snapping shut her compact mirror, she slipped it into her pocket and smiled.

"Oh, it was nothing Mr Tracy," came the casual reply, "I was just helping Alan with his car, he dropped a sparkplug, I reached across to grab the wrench. And ... my lips just connected with his cheek. That's all. It was just an accident. I can assure you."

"Then why ..." realisation dawned upon Jeff's face as his eldest son joined him with a wide grin, " ... OH .... I get it."

"That's right dad," Scott replied, "that was supposed to be Alan's first kiss. He'd been planning it for a while. Guess it didn't go quite as well as he'd planned."

The sun is shining beautifully down onto the white snow that covers the ground like a fluffy blanket. It reflects the warm yellow of the sun brightening up the living room. You watch Steve and Tony talking to Thor outside of the big building, probably planning the next mission - or waiting for one of them paying less attention to land with the force of two other men in the snow.

A soft smile plays at your lips, causing the corners of your lips to twitch with amusement. Who might be the first to get a bunch of snow in their face or fly into the soft fluffy coldness you wonder?

“They will throw Tony into the snow first, dragă mea,” Bucky’s soft voice comes from behind you. You turn slowly around, watching the broad super-soldier standing in the door-frame of the living room. His ocean blue orbs are focused on you, softness and love visible in them while he has the most beautiful smile plastered on his handsome face.

You laugh softly, leaning back on the couch while you let your eyes roam shamelessly over the muscular body of your favorite super-soldier. Bucky pushes himself off the frame and walks closer to you, his steps surprisingly quiet for the wall of muscles he literally is. Your best friend lets himself fall down next to you on the couch, leaning back while he automatically spreads his thick thighs.

“Poor, tiny Tony,” you giggle, turning to the windows again to see if they already started to throw one another into the snow and the moment you turn, you see the smaller man flying into the snow. Thor and Steve give one another a high five, before Steve is the next who lands with his face first in the snow. “Steve got face palmed by the snow.”

Bucky bursts out laughing next to you, something so bare and innocent. Two years ago, you never would have thought that this man, who was only known for his PTSD and staring problem, would actually be such a soft man, who has the most beautiful and heartwarming laugh possible. But there he is, laughing like his past doesn’t exist; his nose scrunches slightly and the freckles around his eyes are more visible, making him so much cuter.

“Face palmed by the snow,” he chuckles, shaking his head. His blue eyes settle on your face again when you turn toward him, nodding softly. The brunette's metal arm slides behind your head over the backrest of the couch and he shifts in his seat. “I thought about something, dragă mea.”

“About being face palmed by the snow too?” You ask, giggling. Bucky shakes his head, letting his cold digits run over your shoulder to your neck and back down your shoulder. Goosebumps erupt on your skin and Bucky’s smile widens when he notices, letting his fingers trail south along your collarbone. His touch is light and tender, feeling like a feather tickling you slightly.

“Not really, but if it would make you happy,” he chuckles. His eyes glisten softly as he leans closer to you. Of course, he always wants to please everyone, he would agree to a lot just to make others happy — to make you happy. “You always look so excited when I speak Romanian, so I thought since it's just you and me, I could teach you some things.”

The grin on his face and the mischievous glint in his eyes has your attention for a moment. It's not just because you're excited when he does it, it's something that lights the fire of desire deep inside of him. But you nod, agreeing to his offer. Not just because you want to get to know more about the sparkle in his eyes but also because of the opportunity to listen to him speaking in Romanian for you.

He crosses his legs, keeping the soft motion of his fingers along your collarbone and up and down your shoulder. “First one, it's an easy one. Te iubesc.”

His voice sounds even softer when he speaks in another language and you enjoy the syllables echoing through your mind for a moment longer. You clear your throat. “Te iubesc.”

Bucky's heart flutters, knowing you have no idea what you just said but hearing those word makes the butterflies in his stomach go crazy. His tongue darts out to wet his lips, before he leans his head back and closes his eyes. It sounds perfect when you say it, maybe he should make you say it more often — of course, he should. He needs to hear you say it, over and over again. Bucky knows he could never get tired of it.

“Şi eu te iubesc, lubirea mea” he replies, waiting for your reaction. You narrow your eyes, titling your head slightly in confusion. Bucky chuckles, leaning closer, his warm breath against your neck and you shiver slightly. The brunette blows softly against the soft, warm skin of your neck, noticing the hitch of your breath. “I love you too, my love.”

You pull back slightly, looking at him with widened eyes. Bucky studies your expression for a moment, a flash of concern and uncertainty visible on his face. He keeps his hand on your shoulder, wanting — needing — to feel your warmth underneath his fingers. You keep staring at him, slowly bringing your hands to capture his face. Your tips brush the soft stubble on his face and a soft smile forms on your lips again.

“Do you mean it? I mean, do you—” you interrupt yourself, searching for anything in his eyes that it was just a joke. But there is nothing but honesty and love, not a hint that it was a joke or just some lesson in Romanian. “You really mean it?”

Bucky nods. He chuckles softly, wondering if it wasn’t obvious before. “Didn't you notice? Everyone called me out that I was so obvious,” he chuckles, leaning closer again. “I was afraid to tell you, didn't know how. You know me from the very start after being the winter soldier, I was afraid you see nothing but a victim in me.”

He takes a shaky breath, moving a strand of your hair out of your face and tucking it behind your ear. For a moment his eyes move around, settling on the scene of Steve, Thor and Tony throwing snow at one another. He then brings his ocean blue eyes back to yours, a soft sigh escapes his plump lips.

“Steve and Nat assured me that you don't see me as just that. And I—” Bucky mumbles softly, his fingers stroking your cheekbone, while he leans further into the soft touch of your hands still capturing his cheeks. “I still didn't know how to tell you. But I thought when I make you say I love you to me then I could say I love you too.”

“Şi eu te iubesc, Bucky,” you whisper, leaning closer until your lips are only inches away from his. Bucky’s smile grows and he breaks the distance between the two of you, pressing his plump, soft lips against yours. Your heartbeat increases and a low chuckles rumbles through Bucky’s chest.

He traces his thumb along your jaw, pulling slightly back after a moment. “Înseamnă că te iubesc mai mult decăt orice pe lumea asta,” he whispers against your lips with a soft smile. Bucky then leans closer once again, pecking your lips. “Before you wonder, it means, I love you more than anyone or anything in the whole universe.”

“Şi eu te iubesc mai mult dec—” you stumble over your words, huffing with frustration. Bucky chuckles softly, pulling you closer again.

“I know,” he mumbles, his lips touching yours. “Let me enjoy the sweet taste for a moment longer and then we can face palm the snow,” Bucky laughs before he kisses you once more. And the soft feeling of his lips and his smell surrounding you lets you feel like you’re home — definiția ta a casei.

The snowflakes fall slowly, covering all of New York City in an angelic layer of beauty. You can't help but snuggle a little deeper into your scarf as you gently squeeze Natasha's hand. This gesture has become a non-verbal cue that you're okay without needing to be asked, and she glances over at you with a slight smile on her lips.

"What's wrong? Isn't an Avenger like you used to it being a little cold outside?" she asks playfully, raising your eyebrow as you give her a mock-offended glance, knowing you can't get mad at her for anything. However, seeing her smile instantly warms you from the inside out, as it never fails to make your heart sing.

"I don't understand how people willingly go outside in these weather conditions. They must be crazy to do it."

Although you were born and raised in New York, you've never been a fan of winter and all that it entails. However, for Natasha, you'd do just about anything, including braving freezing temperatures while the snow crunches beneath your boots.

"I guess I'm crazy then," she says with a shrug before quickening her pace, pulling you along as you approach your destination for the evening: the ice skating rink. It wasn't long ago that you confessed you had never been ice skating before, so she made it her mission to take you on a date to do just that.

"Are you excited to go ice skating?" she asks eagerly, her voice rising with happiness. You nod and reach into your pocket for your phone to pay for renting skates in your respective sizes. As soon as that's done, Natasha finds a bench to sit on and put them on, her enthusiasm infectious as she can't stop telling you how excited she is.

"I’ll do some spins and laps around the rink too! But first, I'll teach you how to skate, of course. There's nothing more important than that," she tells you before leaning in and giving you a peck on the cheek, which makes your face break into a massive grin and sends your stomach doing a little somersault with happiness.

"And what about drinking hot chocolate? I was promised my hot cocoa." You squint your eyes at her playfully, and she nods, her fiery red curls bouncing with each motion.

"That too, Золотце [Darling]. Don't you worry your pretty little head about that for even a second," she giggles.

"You're adorable when you giggle. You're always adorable," you tell your girlfriend, making her cheeks flush from the compliment. It's not something she's entirely used to, but you're gradually teaching her that it's okay to accept compliments. Watching her cheeks warm up at your words fills you with pride, too, especially since she rarely gets this shy and cute.

"Well… you're the most precious thing ever. I will protect you with everything I have." Her words are sealed with a kiss that warms your cheeks this time, making her smile proudly as she pulls away, leaving your lips feeling a bit cold and alone.

"Thank you, Солнышко [Sunshine]."

Once you're both secured and ready to go skating, Natasha reaches out her gloved hand to you, and you happily accept it, taking your first steps on the ice. Though the first few meters feel like a baby deer learning to walk, you soon gain confidence, and it shows. While you're far from mastering the spins and laps that Natasha can do, you're still proud of your progress.

"Can we finally go get my hot chocolate now? I need to sit down before my legs give out and I plant my face on the ice!" The question escapes her lips with a huff as she skates gracefully over to you, expertly maneuvering around all the other people skating simultaneously.

"Of course we can, Золотце. You've done an amazing job, and I'm proud of you," she replies. You smile before eagerly stepping off the ice and holding onto the wall for support. While you search for a table with two chairs to sit at, Natasha orders the hot drink you've been craving the whole time, leaving you with your thoughts for a moment.

As you look at your girlfriend, the urge to say "I love you" for the first time weighs heavily on your mind. It's something you've wanted to express for a while now, and there will never be a more perfect moment than tonight, with the moon illuminating the scene and fairy lights glowing as you enjoy hot chocolate together.

"Here you go—I got your favorite!" Natasha says, placing the cup in front of you, with extra marshmallows floating on top just the way you like.

"So? How are you enjoying our date so far?" The cup rests between her now gloveless hands, allowing her to warm them on the steaming liquid inside. A small smile plays on her lips as she gazes at you with pure adoration and love.

'Let's just say I'm glad that sometimes the walls are there so we can lean on them and rest," you tell her with a chuckle, stretching out your legs for a moment as the soreness slowly disappears.

''But then again, I'm never giving up, so I'll be here until I'm just as good as you.'' Natasha raises an eyebrow at you, her expression a mix of disbelief and pride.

''We'll have to see about that,'' she replies, sitting back and closing her eyes to savor the moment—the warmth of her hot chocolate, your company, and the music playing in the background. As the song switches to 'All I Want for Christmas Is You' by Mariah Carey, you finally gather the courage to share the words you've been thinking since your first date with her.

''I love you, Солнышко.''

As soon as the words hang in the air, she opens her green eyes to meet yours, and her mouth falls open in surprise. Her eyes widen as tears gather in the corners, and you're immediately worried you may have said the wrong thing, though she quickly reassures you.

"Please tell me this isn't a joke. Because I love you too," she asks softly, her voice barely above a whisper. You lean forward, your fingers intertwining with hers as you hold her gaze, the connection between you visible.

"I would never joke about loving you, Natasha. I love you from the furthest corners of my soul to the deepest depths of my heart. You're the one I want to grow old with, and the one I have given my heart to. I love you, and I will never tire of telling you this," you tell her gently, making her smile wide as tears roll down her cheeks.

Instead of responding, she gently sets her drink down and cups your cheeks, drawing you into a heartwarming, passionate kiss. As the snow falls gently and the temperatures continue to plummet, a sense of warmth spreads from within, directly coming from your heartfelt confession.

"I love you too, Золотце, and I long to be your wife one day," she says, leaving you speechless. As you try to process her confession, she kisses you again, and your lips fit together in perfect harmony, sealing your promises.
